So Rede and the people involved with ‘Director’s Cut’ won the title for Best Comedy. This means that they get two tickets to Hollywood for the national screening and get to meet a shit ton of people that are high ups in the movie biz. Their main actor also won for Best Actor, which is totally rad. They’re the only movie that won two awards.

It was nuts. Their movie was the last one to be played of the 16 that were screened (There were about 160 movies entered in the competition). We were on the edge of our seats and when the title came up, we literally screamed. And the whole audience was laughing their asses off. 

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rede this happy before, and I’m super duper proud of him. Next, the Oscars.
